Thes pictures are of the remains in Woodstock Ontario of the CN Hickson or Otterville Spur as it was also known.
The Hickson spur was originally the Otterville Sub, which was itself originally the Port Dover and Lake Huron Rwy. The section from Hickson north to Tavistock Jct was abandoned in the 1930s. The rest from Woodstock to Hickson was serviced by the yard engine out of Woodstock.
The switch stand still turns freely after about 30 years. The bumper looks as if something smacked into it before the final run.
